Here's how the bespoke suit process works:
Schedule a consultation with one of our experienced clothiers, which is both complimentary and obligation-free. You can discuss style options, review our fabric range, and establish a relationship with your clothier.
Once you've settled on your preferred styles and fabrics, we'll take measurements and collect a deposit.
You'll have your first fitting, during which you'll try on a suit skeleton baste/fitting mold or custom shirts.
We'll make adjustments and modifications as necessary to ensure the cut is perfect.
A detailed review of your custom clothing will be conducted during your final fitting, and final adjustments will be made as needed. You can pay the balance once you're completely satisfied.
Choosing Wil Valor as your bespoke tailor ensures you'll receive a custom suit that not only looks amazing but also fits perfectly and feels comfortable.
Wil Valor has the luxury of selecting from two distinct tailoring houses. Mens Suits FAQ's+
How often should a man buy a suit?
The frequency at which a man should purchase a suit depends on his individual needs. Those who wear suits regularly for work may need to refresh their wardrobe more often, while others may only require a suit for special occasions. As a general rule, investing in a high-quality suit every three years or so that fits well and is versatile enough for various occasions is always a wise decision.
What colour suit looks best on a guy?
When it comes to choosing the perfect suit colour, there are no hard and fast rules. It largely depends on personal taste, skin tone, and the occasion. Classic navy, charcoal, and black suits are timeless and versatile options that flatter most men, while bolder hues such as burgundy and greens can make a statement for those who want to stand out. Ultimately, the best colour is one that makes the wearer feel confident and comfortable.
What suits are in style 2023?
In 2023, suits are embracing bolder and more daring designs, including textured fabrics, vibrant colours, and oversized fits. Double-breasted jackets, wide-leg trousers, and boxy blazers are also making a comeback. Ultimately, the trend is all about expressing individual style while maintaining the timeless sophistication of a well-tailored suit.
Can a suit last 10 years?
A high-quality suit made from durable materials can certainly last up to a decade or longer with proper care and maintenance. However, it's important to keep in mind that regular wear and tear, as well as changes in body shape, can affect the lifespan of a suit.
How do you know if a suit looks good on you?
A well-fitted suit should flatter your body shape and accentuate your best features. Look for a suit with a snug but not tight fit in the shoulders, a smooth and flat front without any sagging or gaping, and a well-tapered trouser leg.
What colour suit to wear to a wedding?
When it comes to selecting the perfect suit for a wedding, there are a few factors to consider, such as the season, time of day, and dress code. Classic navy, grey, and black suits are always appropriate choices that work well for most weddings. However, lighter colours like beige or light blue can be suitable for daytime or summer weddings, while darker shades like charcoal or burgundy can add a touch of elegance for an evening affair. It's always best to check with the wedding couple or planner for any specific guidelines.
How to look classy in suits?
To look truly classy in a suit, pay attention to fit and details. Ensure that the suit is well-tailored to your body shape, and accessorise with a timeless tie and polished shoes. Opt for classic colours like navy, charcoal, or black, and select quality fabrics like wool or cashmere. Above all, carry yourself with confidence and poise.
What do you wear under a suit jacket?
The key to achieving a polished look with a suit jacket is to layer correctly. A classic dress shirt in a neutral colour like white or light blue is a safe bet, while a subtle pattern or texture can add interest. A high-quality undershirt can also help to keep you cool and comfortable. Avoid loud patterns or colours that detract from the sophistication of the suit.
Can I wear an untucked shirt with a suit?
Traditionally, suits are designed to be worn with a tucked-in shirt to create a polished and sophisticated look. However, some modern suit styles can accommodate an untucked shirt if the length and fit are appropriate. It's best to avoid this style for more formal occasions, but it can work for more casual events.
Do you wear a coat over a suit jacket?
In cooler weather, a coat is a stylish and practical addition to a suit jacket. Classic options include wool overcoats, pea coats, or trench coats. Opt for a coat that is long enough to cover the suit jacket but not too bulky. When indoors, it's appropriate to remove the coat and wear the suit jacket alone.
