Wil Valor in the Global Spotlight

Wil Valor’s commitment to elevating contemporary tailoring was on the world stage recently as Director Mark represented Australia at the World Federation of Master Tailors (WFMT) event in Busan, South Korea. The gathering brought together 400 master tailors from 37 countries to exchange ideas and advance global standards in craftsmanship.

Reflecting on the experience, Mark described it as “an energising few days, equal parts education, camaraderie and cultural colour,” adding that it was an honour to contribute to discussions shaping the future of tailoring worldwide.

Mark also caught international attention in Hong Kong, where Esquire Hong Kong interviewed him ahead of a Suit Walk featuring 250 international tailors. In the feature, he outlined what defines The Australian Style at Wil Valor - a blend of Italian ease, British structure, and a philosophy grounded in precise fit, thoughtful cloth selection and intentional design.
