More than 120 production processes and 45 craftsmen are involved in the manufacturing of customised Goodyear welted shoes. Each of these steps is owned by an expert, someone who only does that one thing and does so for their entire lives - true artists.
Your shoes are designed right in front of you using a best-in-class 3D design tool enabling you to see your shoes before having them made. After approximately 4-5 weeks your shoes will be delivered for your personal fitting.
We use both Blake and Original Goodyear welting methods. Both have advantages, and define how the sole is attached to the upper.
With high-end shoes The Goodyear Welt is often contrasted with the Blake stitch. With the Blake stitch, the upper is sewn directly to the sole, and it generally creates a more flexible type of shoe. The Original Goodyear Welting process has been associated with excellence and superior workmanship which involves 50+ craftsmen and 100+ processes on each pair.

We have put together a world class patina workshop with a team of colour artisans lead by a true shoe connoisseur. This beautiful hand painting technique was developed in the 60's and gives you the immediate feeling the product is unique.
The patina art craft method is a hand dyeing process of the leather, which creates a completely unique patina with an aged effect. This begins with unfinished crust leather, which has been tanned and handled, but not yet dyed.
The artist applies the dyes manually to the uncut hide and the fully assembled shoe, with the usage of white cloths, brushes and sometimes sponges, to create a unique look on each and every pair of shoes. With care and grace, a dedicated craftsman perfects the personality of each pair of shoes, helping forge their special “soul”.
The materials used in the process are of utmost importance and quality. The leather, polishes, creams and other materials make all the difference. Our patina artist uses basic colors and recreates the magic by mixing different colors as per your demands. Only a master can truly bring a fine patina product to life.
